Causeway Professional Design Suite (PDS) continues to find favour with specialist consultancies as yet more civil engineering firms opt for Professional Bundle licences.

With an increase in work that requires volumetrics and alignment design, civil and structural consultants Struktura Engineering Services requested a demonstration of Causeway PDS as part of their search for an end-to-end design solution. As well as looking to extend the civils arm of their operations, the consultancy was also looking to reduce the volume of drainage design work that was performed manually or outsourced.

As a result, Struktura Engineering Services found the professional bundle to be the most suitable choice, offering comprehensive civil design capabilities that are supplemented with Causeway Flow, a state-of-the-art drainage design package that offers the ability to design foul and storm water drainage networks, size up storage structures, and incorporate SuDS features.

In light of an increasing number of jobs requiring the design of multiple roundabouts and alignments, Wallace Engineering Consulting Engineers had also identified a growing need for a fully comprehensive infrastructure design solution. With drainage design also forming a large part of the business’s work, the consultancy followed both Pyper McLarnon Partnership LLP and RSK Land & Development Engineering in their choice of the PDS Professional Bundle which is supplemented with Causeway Flow by default.

The PDS Professional Bundle is one of three bundle options Causeway currently offers and is specifically designed for civil engineering companies that require a complete and fully functional design suite. Each of the bundles provides a range of powerful and intuitive tools and modules to cover all aspects of earthworks, highways and development site infrastructure design.
